About The Foundation
Chipotle Mexican Grill established the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation in 2011 to extend its commitment to making real food accessible to all. The foundation is dedicated to providing resources and promoting good stewardship for farmers; promoting better livestock husbandry; encouraging regenerative agriculture practices; and fostering food literacy, cooking education, and nutritious eating. Since its inception, the foundation has worked with likeminded organizations committed to cultivating a better world through food.
Chipotle Mexican Grill established the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation in 2011 to extend its commitment to creating a more sustainable food future. Since then, the foundation has contributed nearly $5 million to likeminded organizations committed to cultivating a better world through food.
Through an annual focus within our new mission of making real food accessible for all, the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation gives a series of grants and sponsors an accelerator program each year. The 2020 focus of the foundation is young farmers. Check back soon to learn more about how the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation will be supporting young farmers in 2020.
